King Cobra is an iceberg variety that adapts well to summer plantings in
San Benito and Monterey Counties. The frame and head size are slightly larger
than King Royale, which adapts to the same planting slots. The plant color is
lighter green having stronger saved leaf surface. King Cobra strong
characteristics include a strong resistance to Interior Tip Burn and Bolting. This
variety possesses three quarter cap leaf coverage and sure-heading abilities
under extremely high temperatures.
