Lucky is our newest iceberg variety. Lucky is a medium large Salinas type
with a round to flat head shape and smooth ribs. It has a dark green color with
thick leaf texture, medium tire size and has medium tolerance to Tip-Burn.
Harvest during the summer and fall in Salinas Valley. Lucky is excellent for wrap,
box lettuce, bulk and processor markets. Compare to Telluride, Steamboat,
Stage Coach, Bandelier, Haymaker and Tombstone.
