Prima Forest is a medium-dark green romaine with a yellow interior heart.
it has downy mildew resistance and high Tip-Burn resistance and medium
Sclerotinia tolerance. Its height is slightly shorter than Green Forest and is
adapted to the Fresh, Hearts, and Processor markets. Prima Forest holds better
against twisting of rib caused by weather abnormalities and also holds better
against Fringe Burn compared to Green Forest, making it ideal for a premium
Fresh market Lettuce. Maturity is 2 to 3 days , later than Green Forest making
ideal to split blocks with Prima Forest and Green Forest to stager harvest.
Weight is heavy with a thick leaf texture.
