Sunland is a new romaine variety that is both Corky Root and
Tomato Bushy Stunt Virus Resistant. This new variety exhibits strong
bolting tolerance and strong resistance to low & high temperature
abnormalities. Sunland has a large frame with a medium green color
and plant height is 12 to 13 inches with a thick & wide leaf surface. It
has an excellent thick smooth tapered midrib and has exceptional
weight at harvest. Sunland has a medium tolerance to Tip Burn and can
be used for Fresh, Processor and Heart markets. *Recommendation:
Sunland does best in fields with proper rotation.
